The patients who are visiting the Institute for the first time are asked to make an appointment personally in the information office (beside reception office) or by phone. Each patient is then informed of the exact date, hour and place (outpatient department or hospital ward) of the appointment.
The patients coming to the Institute for an examination or admission to hospital are asked to bring along the following documents:
- referral of their personal doctor, addressed to the Institute of Oncology,
- valid health insurance card,
- identity card,
- a card with appointment or admission date.
The patients are required to bring along the copies of medical reports of earlier examinations, X-ray images, and a carefully prepared list of the medications that they are regularly taking.
The patients do not need to come to the Institute earlier than 30 minutes before the appointed hour.
