Clinical registry for lung cancer
The data collection infrastructure for the Clinical Registry for Lung Cancer (KrPlj) has been in place and pilot-tested since 2018 as part of the national cancer registry. Data on all patients with lung cancer (C33 and C34 according to ICD-10) are entered into the KrPlj. A set of quality of care indicators has also been validated within the Expert Group for Lung Cancer of the National Cancer Control Programme and will be monitored in KrPlj.
Currently, the Clinical Registry for Lung Cancer does not yet collect data at the national level, as reporting is not yet ensured from the University Clinic of Respiratory and Allergic Diseases Golnik, where approximately one third of all systemic treatments for lung cancer patients in Slovenia are administered.
