Primož Mekuč holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and works as a R&D Associate within the national cervix cancer screening program. His work primarily focuses on: 
1) Developing leadership competencies at the international level in the field of cancer screening programs
2) Contributing to the design and implementation of the next-generation information system for the national cervical cancer screening program ZORA.
 
His research interests include: modern approaches to leadership and collaboration in interdisciplinary teams and their application in healthcare, comprehensive strategies for the digitalization of healthcare, cancer screening.
