Assoc. Prof. Božidar Casar, Ph.D., heads the Department of Dosimetry and Quality of Radiological Procedures. He is an active researcher in the P1-0389 “Medical Physics” research program, and his research focuses primarily on the precise dosimetry of small photon fields in radiation therapy. Since 2019, he has also been a professor at the University of Trieste, where he teaches in the graduate program in medical physics. Dr. Casar serves as a section editor for medical physics at the international scientific journal Radiology and Oncology and collaborates with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as an international expert.
