Prof. Vesna Zadnik currently serves as the head of the Epidemiology and Cancer Registry sector at the Institute of Oncology Ljubljana. She is also appointed as a full professor in public health at the Medical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana. She directs and carries out in-depth epidemiological analyses using the data of the national cancer registry and national clinical registries in order to provide evidence on cancer incidence, time series, spatial distributions, survival of cancer patients, quality of oncological care, effectiveness of cancer screening programs, etc.
