Clinical registry of skin melanoma
The Slovenian Clinical Registry of Skin Melanoma (KrMel) was established in 2017. Data are entered into the KrMel for all patients with invasive and in situ skin melanoma (C43 and D03 according to the International Classification of Diseases ICD-10). In 2017, 579 people had invasive melanoma and 274 people had non-invasive melanoma, making melanoma the 6th most common cancer in Slovenia.
Prior to the first report of the Clinical Registry of Skin Melanoma, we have prepared an assessment of the care of patients with skin melanoma in Slovenia for the years 2011-2016. The data analyses are presented according to the years of the incidence of the patients, following the format of the Cancer Registry, and the reports are prepared for five-year periods.
