Assist. Tina Germšek, MSc, is employed as an analyst at the Department of Cytopathology at the Institute of Oncology Ljubljana. Her laboratory work focuses on the diagnostics and research of gynecological cancers directly linked to human papillomavirus (HPV) infections. As part of her research activities, she participates in liquid biopsy studies, specifically focusing on the analysis of circulating tumor cells in the blood. She is also involved in the development of multiplex immunocytochemical staining.
