Understanding the role of radiotherapy in different areas of life is essential for the comprehensive management of oncology patients.

Purpose of the study

The purpose of collecting this information is to support research in the field of radiotherapy and to strengthen the understanding of the role of radiotherapy as part of the comprehensive management of oncology patients within a multidisciplinary approach.

Study procedure

Participation in the study is free of charge and does not include any additional medical examinations. The study takes place in everyday clinical practice, where data are collected on patients receiving radiotherapy.

Before the start of radiotherapy and at each follow-up visit after radiotherapy, the research staff will ask participants to complete questionnaires. The questionnaires cover areas such as mobility, self-care, everyday activities, pain, discomfort, anxiety, sexual life, treatment-related symptoms, and attitudes towards the decision to undergo radiotherapy.

Who can take part?

Persons aged 12 years or older with non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, or colorectal cancer for whom radiotherapy treatment is planned.
